22 Weeks!

Today puts me at 22 weeks and holy-moly the weeks are starting to fly by!  Ahhhh, I'm getting so nervous.  I have the Baby Center app on my phone and ever so often there are videos of actual childbirth and so I just had to watch one last night, before I went to sleep.  Now don't get me wrong, I'm excited about starting our family and all that comes with that, but the actual labor part scares the shit out of me.  Anyone that knows me, knows that I don't handle pain well.  I think even with an epidural I'm going to have a hard time.  I'm so worried I'm going to go into shock and not be able to do it.  I'm really hoping that won't be the case, but for now I'm trying to just not think about it.  I'm just praying Graham will be able to keep me calm!

 

We have an ultrasound appointment today and I'm praying to sweet baby Jesus that we'll be able to find out what our little one will be.  I'm hoping the baby will get Graham's 'go with the flow' attitude instead of my contrary, hard-headed one.  Today may likely be our first indication of just that!

 

I'm still battling the ol' swelling in my feet and ankles, which as you can see below is quite fun!  Ha!  I do my best to stay active during the day and am making sure that I'm up walking around as much as possible.  Working in my office doesn't always make it easy to do.  My bladder is doing an excellent job reminding me it's time to take a walk, though...

 

 

 

I'm still getting up to pee numerous times during the night and I suspect that will only get worse.  And my dreams!  Man oh man, am I having some crazy ones!  I feel like there's not a moment in the night where I'm not in dream land on some crazy/stupid mission.  They are literally so random.  Graham said that I've also started to snore quite a bit, which doesn't bother me at all, but I'm sure it's annoying to him.  Not much I can do about it.  =)

 

Keep us in your prayers today as we head to our dr. appoinment.  Regardless of whether we can find out the sex, I'm just praying that Baby Guy is healthy as can be!!
