21 Weeks!

As of today I'm 21 weeks, which means we've got 19 weeks left - of course that's all left up to what Baby Guy decides!  =)  Our next appointment is a week from today and (fingers crossed) we'll get to find out what this little munchkin is so I can start working on the nursery!

Not much has changed from last week as I continue to be a bundle of indecisiveness.  I'm pretty confident we will be having a gender reveal party, but I haven't got all of the details worked out yet.  I'm sad that my mom, sister and her family won't be able to be there, but I'm hoping the majority of my local family and Graham's family will be able to make it.  We have decided for sure that if it's possible, we will find out together at the ultrasound appointment, instead of being surprised with the rest of the family.  I just think it's a special time that I want to experience with my husband first.

Since it won't be a surprise to us, I'm planning on making the cupcakes myself.  Since it will be co-ed, I doubt we'll do many games or anything - just a dinner and enjoying some quality family/friend time at our house.  I do plan on having a space for people to offer ideas for baby names.  We're about 95% sure on a girl name, but literally have no ideas for a boy.  Since my Texas family won't be able to be there, I'll have to think of a cute way to share our exciting news with them.

I continue to battle swelling in my feet and ankles, and I'm looking forward to getting a pedicure this weekend.  My big ol' belly is definitely making it harder to paint my own toes.  I'm craving sweets and carbs, which could be a problem... I'm just trying to keep everything in moderation.

A normal night consists of me getting up 3-4 times to go potty.  So far it's been easy to go right back to sleep and I'm hoping my luck continues.  I'm also having a ridiculous amount of dreams.  It's like as soon as I fall asleep I can feel myself drifting off into one - often times I'm even telling myself it's just a dream as it continues!  For the most part they've been just random, what the hell is going on types of dreams, but some of them have been down right disturbing.  I've even had a few about the end of the world where I literally thought that my life was ending.  I told you they've been weird!

I'm also starting to feel little flutters, which always make me feel like I need to go pee.  I wouldn't really call them "kicks", because they don't hurt or anything, but from what I've read they will be happening before I know it... and there will be no doubt what is happenening when it comes!  For now I'm just enjoying watching youtube videos of different births.  What an amazing experience!!!

Please continue to keep my little family in your prayers as we go forward in our little journey.
