Smokin' On The Pecos

Hey y'all heyyyyyy!

We spent our weekend at the 2nd Annual Smokin' On The Pecos.  It's a BBQ competition that started in town last year that brings together numerous bbq vendors, local bands, craft shows, and many other forms of entertainment.

The food was amazing
We indulged in brisket, sausage, pork, ribs, corn, okra, potato salad, and fried taters.

Ya can't tell by these pictures, but Jackson and Mollie were busy selling bracelets.  All of the proceeds go to our church's mission trip to the Ukraine at the end of this week.

We found these beauties at one of the craft vendors.  We don't have a ranch (obviously), but I still loved the sign.  I'll paint that part of it or something!

Saturday night finished up with some good ol' 90's country courtesy of Mark Chesnutt.  We grew up on 90's country, which makes it hard to listen to some of the crap radio plays now.  He has such an amazing voice and I'm so glad we got the chance to see him.

*Awesome BBQ
*Craft Shows
*Time with family & friends
*Live music

YUP!
It was a gooooood weekend!
Now to get through this short week and dive into a long holiday weekend.

In other news, we have some B I G changes brewin'... and I'll be spilling the beans on those later this week.
