My sista-from-anotha-mista, Rachel at One Way Ticket To Onederland nominated me for a Liebster award. A week and a half later, I am barely getting this post out. Womp, womp, womp. In my defense, we have been busy moving. I know, I know... excuses, excuses! Haha!
Be sure to stop by and check out her blog! She's such a weight loss inspiration. When she's not sweatin' it out in the gym, she's sweatin' it out on the beautiful beaches in Florida. Lucky, lucky brat!!!

•Answer the 11 questions posed by your nominator
•Make a list of 11 facts about yourself
11 Random Facts About Me...
1. I have a huge freaking family! There are 6 brothers and sisters, 10 nieces and nephews, 9 great nieces and nephews. Sadly I don't spend much time with the majority of them. It's hard when there are that many!
2. I love giving gifts. I may not be able to spend much most of the time, but I put a lot of thought into things I make/buy to give to our friends and family.
3. I love rustic/antique decor and I'm also learning how to distress furniture. I'm having a blast decorating our new house!
4. We just paid off my sweet little car last month and I am oh-so-excited to not have that payment anymore. It was small, but it's still so gratifying to pay off debt. I just hope it lasts me another 5 years or so!
5. I want to be a mom... and soon. I'm a planner though... and I have certain months in mind that would be more ideal than others for us to start our family. I'm sure God will show me that he runs the show and I'll be knocked up on his terms! LOL!
6. I love all things fall. The colors, smells, food, pumpkins, leaves, B&B hand soaps, starbucks pumpkin anything, scarecrows, wreaths, mums, indian corn, cooler weather... I could go on and on! Oh! And our 1st anniversary will be this fall too!
7. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'd give anything to be living back in Texas!
8. As of last week, I've worked at the gas plant for two years; which means I've also been living with Graham for two years.

11 Questions to answer...
1. Who is your embarrassing celebrity crush? Or just your publically acceptable crush? Hahaa
I've always thought Jason Aldean was one of the hottest men alive. He's still so handsome... but his cheating ways make it hard to see him the same way anymore.
2. If you could hop on a plane and go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Believe it or not, I've never flown before. I'm just more of a road-trip type of girl. I love the journey, not just the destination... if that makes sense. If I had to choose a vacay spot, I'd have to say anywhere on a beautiful, relaxing beach. Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Gulf Shores, Corpus... I'm really not picky.
3. What is your favorite TV show?
Think what you want, but I'm a reality tv junky. I just love the Kardashians!
4. What was the best family vacation you ever went on? Or if not a family thing….What was the best vacation you ever went on?
A few years ago I went on a two week road trip from NM, to CO (to see some family), then drove up through Utah's salt lakes... down through Nevada and stayed in Sacramento for about a week. While there, I visited San Francisco's china town and pier 39, which was just gorgeous. I went through LA and drove through Arizona on my way home to NM. It was awesome and I can't wait to plan something similar with the hubby. It seems like the last few years have been so busy with wedding and home-buying plans that we haven't been able to go anywhere. I can't wait to plan a vacay!
5.If you could meet one person living or dead, who would it be and why?
Hands down... Miranda Lambert. She's just awesome. I love her strong-willed, spunky attitude and she seems like she'd be the most down to earth girl in the world.
6. Who is your favorite musician?
Miranda Lambert
7. What is the most important trait in a significant other?
Honesty. I'm so glad I married a man that's just an open book. I've wasted time on my share of liars and it's so nice to know that the biggest issue I'll probably ever have with my hubby is him not putting things away every now and then. I have a good man!
8. What is your favorite book or book series?
I'm not much of a reader, but the book that sticks out most in my mind is Dave Pelzer's "A Child Called It". It was absolutely heartbreaking.
9. What is your dream job?
I would love to own a craft shop.
10. What is your favorite song of all time?
Jason Boland - "Proud Souls"
11. What is the most embarrassing thing that you have done?
A few years ago while I was working at a bank in Artesia, I came back to work after my lunch break. The door the employee's used made it so we had to walk across the lobby floor in front of the teller line to get to my bookkeeping office. I proceeded to walk through a line of Friday, paycheck cashers when my ankle gave out from under me. It felt like I flew 50 feet. My purse ended up across the lobby, my keys went the other direction, and my high heel was hanging onto my toes by a thread. I got up as fast as I could, put my shoe back on, gathered my belongings, and high-tailed it to my little office and closed the door. I didn't come out again until it was time to go home. Moral of the story... my feet were made for boots, not high heels!
