29 Weeks!

Baby Guy
* The size of a butternut squash
*Weighs 2.5lbs
*15 inches long
77 days to go!

Today puts me at 29 weeks and I just can't believe how fast time is flying and how at the same time it still feels like I have so much longer to go.  It's hard to explain.

I ordered baby girl's first blanket off of Etsy last week and I'm hoping it'll come in this week.  We've decided not to do an actual them for her nursery, but use the colors red, turquoise, and pink.  I've found some super cute wall art on Etsy and am planning on getting it all ordered in the next few weeks so that we can get her room done.  We plan on painting the large wall that the crib will be against turquoise and decorating with red and pink wall decor.  I also find a site online to order the letters of her name - I just want something a little different then Hobby Lobby can provide.  The letters come unfinished and I'll paint them pink.  They're going to look so cute against that turquoise wall!

We made a tiny bit of progress in getting her room cleaned out, since I sold the treadmill that we just had to have but used like twice.  :)  We have our old queen bed in the other spare room that takes up way too much space and a futon in the nursery that is freaking uncomfortable.  I'm trying to decide if I want to make more room and keep the futon in the spare bedroom or keep my future guests comfort in mind and keep the bed that pretty much takes up every bit of space in there.  Decisions, decisions.

I haven't been having near as many issues with swelling this past week, although it definitely still comes and goes.  I even saw my ankle bones for a short period yesterday... I hadn't seen them in months!  I am starting to get exhausted though.  When I get home from work I water all of our plants and then start the water sprinklers in both yards - and by the time I'm done with that little bit, I'm just so tired!  I'm definitely getting to the point that I'm not wanting to cook very much.  Luckily it's been so warm that Graham can take care of dinner by firing up the grill.  Now if only the pesky wind would go away...

At my last appointment, the dr started having me do kick counts, where you count baby's movements to make sure that everything is still going good in there.  There should be 10 movements (kicks, rolls, punches, jabs, whatever) in a 2 hour period each day.  Well actually there are tons more, but the dr. said not to get obsessed with it, just to make sure it was happening each day.  So far I've had no problems tracking her movement.  It seems like she moves constantly and it's getting to where it hurts!

Keep our little family in your prayers please and thank you!
